NMG Studio houses five distinct production divisions — each with its own brief, its own team, and its own contribution to the NMG editorial universe.
Current NMG Studio capabilities — housed at Satellite Beach, Mukono. Expanding toward the 2028 world-class build.
NMG Studio is built by people who believe that African media deserves to be made at the highest standard. We are looking for journalists, filmmakers, sound engineers, editors, podcast producers, and digital creators who bring that belief to work with them every day.
We are a fast-moving, ambitious, Pan-African media studio with a $2.5M investment round open, a growing audience, and a founder personally invested in every production.
All roles are based at Satellite Beach, Mukono, Uganda. Remote and hybrid arrangements considered for selected roles.
NMG Studio exists because Nengo Media Grid's editorial conviction has always outpaced the infrastructure available to act on it. For years, African stories were told at the standard the budget allowed rather than the standard the story deserved. That era is ending here, in Mukono, starting now.
The 2028 studio infrastructure build is not a vanity project. It is the physical form of a belief: that African media, made by African people, about African realities, for African audiences — and the world — requires facilities that match the seriousness of that mandate.
